Streamlined, focused, reimagined technology – that is the OMLED OLED f2 – a floor lamp featuring OLEDs. It is minimalist, tech-savvy and, at the same time, digital and smart, designed with people’s needs in mind rather than technical feasibility.

The OMLED OLED f2 floor lamp is part of the world’s first range of lighting fixtures to utilise pioneering OLED technology. The organic light-emitting diode combines numerous advantages. The bulb consists of thin layers of organic, semiconducting materials situated between two electrically conductive layers, which emit light as long as an electric current flows.

The OMLED One series of lights has been manufactured using a completely new type of technology. The light’s glass housing serves simultaneously as a circuit board, control element and heat sink, with the upper pane acting as the circuit board. An optimal combination of function and reduced material usage. In this innovative process, developed and patented in Germany, conductor tracks, electronic components, contacts and a circuit for dimming the light are applied to the high-quality glass. This eliminates the need for a conventional plastic circuit board and allows the floor lamp to be designed very flat.
