For controlling Calex outdoor lights: The Smart Outdoor Link Bluetooth Mesh GatewayWith the Smart Outdoor Link Bluetooth Mesh Gateway, outdoor luminaires from Calex can be integrated for intelligent lighting control via app. To do this, the gateway is plugged into an indoor socket and connected to the home WLAN. The gateway then sends a Bluetooth signal to the outdoor luminaires, creating a network known as a mesh in which each component simultaneously acts as a transmitter. As soon as the gateway is connected to the WLAN network and to the outdoor lights, all devices can be controlled with the free Calex app. Since the Calex app is also compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit, the control can also be done by voice commands.
