Dimmable Vitruvio floor lamp with mouth-blown glass shade The main feature of the Vitruvio floor lamp is its transparent lampshade made of mouth-blown glass. Its appearance is reminiscent of a beehive or a Kokon. Horizontal strips have been set into the upper half of the lampshade, making the bulb appear slightly blurred in the Innes. They also ensure that the light is emitted without glare and illuminates its surroundings evenly. To install the floor lamp, first insert the LED bulb (see accessories), which is surrounded by three movable metal rods. When the glass lampshade is placed on the frame, a mechanism is set in motion that aligns the rods and anchors them optimally in the shade. The rods balance the weight of the sphere and ensure a secure hold. The light is conveniently operated using the foot switch provided. This enables the floor lamp to be switched on and off and dimmed continuously. Decorative LED bulbs are suitable for the lighting. Vitruvio is a project by the designer group Atelier oï, which focusses on working with high-quality and sustainable materials. Die floor lamp combines traditional values and time-honoured manufacturing processes, such as the art of glass blowing, with modern visions and technologies. Die is thus representative of the basic principles of Atelier oï and the lighting manufacturer Artemide.
