Eggboard Matrix sound-absorbing LED pendant light, 160 x 80 cm – direct and indirect lighting
The Eggboard Matrix Up/Down LED pendant light is ideal for providing adequate general and task lighting in office spaces. The underside is made from sound-absorbing material, the properties of which are enhanced by the sinusoidal shapes. Optimal acoustic efficiency is achieved when positioned approximately one metre above head height. Light is emitted both downwards and upwards. The LED board is fitted with numerous small individual diodes and features rotationally symmetrical reflectors, resulting in a homogeneous and pleasant lighting effect. With a glare rating (UGR < ) of 19, the Eggboard Matrix is also the ideal choice for computer workstations.
The office hanging light was designed by Progetto CMR for the manufacturer Artemide. With its ‘The Human Light’ philosophy, Artemide places particular emphasis on tailoring the lighting effect to human needs – a principle that is particularly evident in the Eggboard Matrix.
