LED floor lamp Discovery - top-designed light dispenser by Artemide - controllable via app

Unusual in appearance, powerful in illumination - this is how the Discovery LED floor lamp, created by Ernesto Gismondi, presents itself. Its vertical shade has a rectangular design and is framed by a narrow aluminium frame in which the innovative Edgelight lighting technology has been installed, i.e. the LEDs are installed all around the frame and flood the diffuser with bright light. This creates a direct and indirect light output at the same time, which provides a pleasant ambience.

For this floor lamp, the free downloadable app of the manufacturer Artemide can be used. It is available for both Android and iOS and works via Bluetooth. Thus, both the light colour and the brightness can be adjusted, for example, from the couch.

Ernesto Gismondi (1931-2020), the co-founder of the Artemide company, created the Discovery lamp series, which also includes pendant and wall lamps, and once again noticeably implemented the philosophy of "The Human Light".
