Decomposé table lamp – a designer piece by Atelier Oï
The Decomposé table lamp has a simple design and is painted in an attractive colour. The appeal of this attractive additional light source comes from its design, the appearance of which makes sense of the name Decomposé (French: decomposed): the lampshade appears to be in the process of disintegration, as it looks like a roll of streamers where the top layers have taken on a life of their own.
But of course that is just how it appears, and it also produces a very aesthetic play of light and shade in conjunction with the emitted light.
