"Alien" is a fitting name for the unusual shape of this light. The body of the luminaire seems to wind its way upwards from the ground like a strange creature. This completely closed body is made of white, translucent plastic, which guarantees glare-free and softly diffused light thanks to the nature of the material and the closed shape. The Munich-based designer Constantin Wortmann, who is responsible for the designs for the Alien luminaire series, has been working for next, a luminaire manufacturer from Cologne, for many years. Before designing lights for the Cologne-based company, he had already worked for Ingo Maurer, one of Germany's best-known lighting designers. next's designer lights are manufactured in Germany.
