Designer pendant light Alien M in an unusual design

A kind of tentacle gently wraps itself around the textile cable hanging from the ceiling and ends in a bulbous, white body at the lower end of the cable. This rounded body, like the narrow extension towards the ceiling, is made of high-quality white polyethylene and is therefore translucent. The translucency is a key feature, as this white plastic body serves as a lampshade or diffuser. The pendant light, aptly named Alien, provides completely glare-free and softly diffused light – a fitting name for such an unusual design that is difficult to describe in conventional terms.

The Alien series of lights was designed by Munich-based designer Constantin Wortmann, who has also worked for Ingo Maurer. These exclusive lights are manufactured exclusively in Germany.
