Are stainless steel bollard lights available with motion detectors?

Many of our stainless steel bollard lights are available with motion detectors, with the added luxury of a ‘twilight sensor’, so the light doesn’t come on during the day.

For pathways, we also advise setting your motion sensor with a detection angle of at least 120 degrees.

How far apart should stainless steel bollard lights be placed?

To get the best out of our stainless steel path lights, they need to be positioned close enough together to avoid sharp contrasts of light and dark. So, to illuminate an area as much as possible, you need to choose stainless steel bollard lights with a high light point height.

It’s also important you pay close attention to the light distribution.

Some path lights illuminate the pathway only, while ‘all-round’ lights illuminate the immediate surroundings outside the path — it just depends on the effect you’re looking for.
