Milenka – a traditional-looking bankers lamp with a green lampshade and a glossy stand with a brass finish
Bankers lamps are popular cult objects, which are well-known from many American films of the past decades. They date back to the 1920s and 1930s, where they were found in offices, chambers, courts and, of course, banks. The stand was generally brass-coloured and the lampshade often elongated and green, and this all applies to the Milenka bankers lamp. It also features a true-to-style pull cord on the lampshade. The light is not dispersed into the general surroundings; instead, it is directed onto the surface below to provide sufficient brightness for reading and writing.
