What IP protection class do outdoor floor lamps need?
In order to be used outdoors, outdoor floor lamps require a higher IP protection rating than indoor luminaires.
Outdoor floor lamps with IP44 are protected against rain. Heavy rain already requires IP65. If the luminaire could be temporarily submerged in water, at least IP67 is required.
