HERZBLUT - HANDMADE WOODEN LAMPS
In the Sauerland region, in the stately "Haus Amecke" castle on the picturesque Sorpesee lake, handcrafted Made-in-Germany wooden lamps with character are created. HerzBlut GmbH is based here and manufactures high-quality light sources for a natural style of living.
You can see, feel and smell the passion that goes into working this unique natural material with its grain, coloring and feel. The individuality of the material, be it oak, walnut or genuine Sauerland fence wood, makes each HerzBlut luminaire unique. Accentuated with metal components, luminaires are created that combine the comfort and expressiveness of wood with modern flair. The cotton lampshade used in most cases underlines the homely character of all HerzBlut lamps.
The lights are at home in an industrial or Scandi style and as an accent in a thoroughly modern, straightforward interior.

HerzBlut stands for sustainability and resource conservation
The basic values that guide HerzBlut's business activities are respect, appreciation, quality and sustainability. When it comes to sustainability, the company relies on natural materials such as wood as a renewable raw material (from FSC-certified suppliers), replaceable LED lamps and environmentally friendly packaging that uses as little plastic as possible. Instead, films made from potato peelings are used, which are biodegradable.
Handcrafted with heart and soul
Every single light is handmade at HerzBlut and customers can even take advantage of a repair service if necessary. Thanks to in-house production in Germany, long transportation routes are avoided and even the energy used to manufacture the lights is generated in a CO2-neutral way. The individual luminaire components are recyclable and natural paper is used for advertising. In addition to all these pieces of the puzzle for a sustainable overall concept, HerzBlut is also directly involved in environmental protection, e.g. with a flower meadow for insects around the manufactory or planting trees in local forests. The declared goal: a forward-looking, sustainable economy for future generations.
