The easy ART to boost your vitamin D levels

Philips Skylight is available with an optional special integrated module: VitaUp has been developed to specifically support your body’s natural production of vitamin D and to provide sun-like UVB light at a controlled intensity. The system delivers a consistent, safe dose for up to 8 hours a day, which is equivalent to regular, brief exposure to sunlight. Thanks to a service life of approx. With a battery life of 25,000 hours (approximately 8.5 years based on 8 hours’ use per day) and an automatic shut-off after 8 hours, VitaUp is particularly low-maintenance and convenient for everyday use.

Important note: According to the manufacturer, Signify, no additional sun protection is required provided the product is installed correctly. The product is classified as risk 0, meaning it can be used within its intended scope of application without the need for special protective measures.

The standard Skylight remote control

The remote control allows you to operate Skylight conveniently and intuitively. The ON/OFF button allows you to switch the light on or off at any time with ease. The ‘Auto Rhythm’ function is available to provide an automatically adjusted daylight cycle; provided that the automatic daily rhythm is activated, it automatically adjusts the lighting changes, thereby supporting the natural daily routine. In addition, the remote control offers various lighting modes to suit different situations and needs: the brightness can also be adjusted as required: the ‘Dim down’ function dims the light in steps or continuously when the button is held down, whilst ‘Dim up’ increases the brightness accordingly.

The Skylight extended remote control with VitaUp module

The Philips Skylight advanced remote control, featuring a built-in VitaUp module to help the body produce vitamin D, offers all the standard functions plus a dedicated ‘VitaUp’ button. This allows you to easily switch the built-in VitaUp or UVB function on or off. This means the lighting can be adjusted at any time to suit the mood, time of day or activity.
