Spherical pendant light with chain suspension This model is a variation on the ceiling light designed by the artist Marianne BRANDT in 1926, when she worked at the Bauhaus. The spherical lampshade made of white opal glass is suspended from three chains, each 100 centimetres long, which are attached to a canopy made of either brass or nickel. The pendant light is available in eight different sizes and designs. In this pendant light, the precise rediscovery of a Klassik merges with a new, individual element. Important note: If bulbs with a clear Glas bulb are used for this light, it is possible that it will cast a shadow on the glass lampshade. The manufacturer Tecnolumen confirms the authenticity of this light by means of a Tecnolumen stamp and continuous numbering. Tecnolumen - light manufacturer with Bauhaus programme The works of the Bauhaus, which are now regarded as modern classics, form the heart of the Tecnolumen company. The German manufacturer has set itself the task of producing new editions of famous works, such as this pendant light by Marianne BRANDT, based on original designs. The first model was Wagenfeld's famous table lamp in 1979. In addition to Bauhaus, Tecnolumen also offers Art Deco pieces and those influenced by De Stijl. The German company was founded by designer Walter Schnepel, who completes the repertoire with other contemporary designers.
