Luisa S1 LED pendant light with matt white lacquered metal elements and glass shade Luisa is a pendant light made of matt white lacquered metal and hand-blown glass that is not only visually appealing, but also impresses with its lighting effect. Warm white LEDs are installed in the centre of the lampshade behind an opal white, cylindrically shaped diffuser, emitting glare-free light all around and perfectly showcasing the mouth-blown Glas shade in all its perfection. The very good colour rendering index of the LEDs with a value of Ra >90 creates a natural-looking light in which the colours appear unadulterated. Gauzak, a product design studio founded in 2011 by designer Leire Perez and designers Juan T. Carboneras and Arkaitz Bogen with offices in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca, designed the Luisa luminaire series for the Italian manufacturer Prandina. High-quality, hand-blown glass shades characterise the lights from this manufacturer, where quality is the top priority in the production of lights. In collaboration with well-known designers and architects, Prandina produces high-quality luminaires that can be found in some of the leading hotel chains and business premises of well-known companies.
