The UV-C lamp used in the Innes irradiates the room air drawn in, converting part of the oxygen in the air (O2) into ozone (O3). Over time, the odourless gas decomposes back into O2 so that it only accumulates in the room to a concentration that is harmless to health. With its oxidative effect, ozone ensures a significant reduction in air pollution with bacteria, viruses and fungi as well as odorous substances and allergens. Ozonos AC-1 thus effectively eliminates unpleasant odours; pathogens and harmful aerosols are significantly reduced.
