With organic LEDs - high-quality OMLED OLED f5 floor lamp The OMLED One luminaire series is the first luminaire family in the world to be manufactured using pioneering OLEDs as bulbs. This "organic light-emitting diode" combines many ecological and economic advantages. It consists of thin layers of semiconducting organic materials that are located between two current-conducting layers and emit light as long as current is flowing. The OLEDs emit UV- and IR-free light and create a cosy atmosphere in the room, emitting flat light that spreads a very pleasant lighting effect and is absolutely glare-free. The manufacturer uses a completely new type of technology to produce the OMLED One luminaire family. With this patented technology, the housing of the light is both a circuit board and a control element made of Glas. Conductor tracks, contacts, electronic components and a circuit for dimming are applied directly to the high-quality Glas, making a conventional plastic circuit board superfluous and significantly reducing the height of the light. The Glas housing is both circuit board and heat sink. The electronic components are arranged in each of the five squares on the upper disc, creating a wide-area illumination. All components of this OMLED ONE f5 floor lamp were manufactured in Germany.
