Designed & made in Germany: DNA 0,1,2 pendant light by next The Hopf & Wortmann design team wanted to use an organically growing structure as a design template for the DNA 0,1,2 pendant light. With the structure of a molecule, or more precisely a DNA molecule - as the name suggests - they have used a molecule that makes every person unique. The pendant light is also unique, as its shape can be changed thanks to the swivel joints on its plastic structure, so that the "atoms" in the form of bulbs (Globe bulbs, exclusive) point in different directions. The DNA 0,1,2 light is a product of the Cologne-based lighting manufacturer next, which has been producing lights with the "Made in Germany" label at its Cologne site since 2005. The designer Constantine Wortmann, who is now one of next's main designers, has already worked with the well-known luminaire designer Ingo Maurer.
