Liuku Drop hanging light in a stylish, naturally inspired design This pendant light is an eye-catcher even when unlit, whether as table lighting or to illuminate a section of a room. Liuku Drop consists of a drop-shaped base made of lime wood and a cylindrical, slightly bulbous lampshade made of hand-blown glass that surrounds the wood at the bottom. The special thing about Liuku Drop is that the wooden element, which is fitted with a downward-facing GU10 fitting, can also be used as a light source without a glass shade. The Liuku Drop lighting series was created by Finnish designer Maija Puoskari, whose concepts are often inspired by motifs from Natur. In addition to lights, her portfolio also includes tableware collections for well-known international brands. Puoskari's work has been part of the Kunstgewerbemuseum collection in Berlin since 2017. The manufacturer Mater produces high-quality designer pieces for both the private and public sector. The production is carried out using traditional craft techniques and sustainable materials.
