MARSET Vetra LED pendant light with glass shade

Indirect lighting par excellence: Vetra LED pendant light made of glass with SMD LEDs, 2,700 K

The elegant Vetra LED pendant light hangs from a wire rope, along which the black connection cable runs, from the canopy, which is also black. It was created in 2018 by Joan Gaspar, a multi-award-winning industrial designer who is known, among other things, for breathing new life into lights with conventional designs and who has been working closely with MARSET since 1996. Vetra conceals more functionality and creativity than one might initially assume from its rather classic design.

Its voluminous lampshade made of handblown glass, whose side walls are closed, serves as a diffuser at the sides and allows light to shine through only subtly. The LED module, which uses high-quality SMD LEDs, is attached via a bar at the lower edge and directed inwards. Its lacquered aluminium bracket also serves as a diffuser, so that no light is emitted directly downwards and there is no glare. Instead, the light is reflected inside the lampshade, which multiplies the brightness and creates very good indirect lighting.
