PH 80 floor lamp with three-layer lampshade and integrated dimmer function The special visual highlight of the PH 80 floor lamp is its three-layer lampshade, which is made of opal white acrylic. The standing star is made of powder-coated steel. The light emits diffuse and reflected light into the surroundings, most of which is emitted towards the floor. Thanks to the restrained colour scheme, the floor lamp can be easily integrated into different living areas and interiors. With a dimmable bulb, the brightness of PH 80 can be adjusted using the switch integrated into the cable. The well-known three-shade system is a trademark of the luminaire manufacturer Louis Poulsen and was created by designer Poul Henningsen. During his collaboration with the Danish company, he created 19 models in different shapes and colours. The PH 80 floor lamp was produced on the occasion of Henningsen's 80th birthday in 1974, which gave it its name.
