All three elements are made of drawn aluminium. The outer sides are black, while the inner sides are white. The Warm light is pleasantly glare-free and emitted into the room, primarily towards the floor. This makes the hanging light ideal for illuminating the living room or dining room table. The brightness of the light can be adjusted to individual requirements using an external phase dimmer (Mains Dimmable). Poul Poul Henningsen designed the three-shade system back in the 1920s. Together with the Danish company Louis Poulsen, he primarily developed lights that were intended to emit glare-free light. A total of around a thousand models in a wide range of variations were created, making the three-layer lampshade a trademark of the Danish lighting manufacturer.
