Narrow LED pathway luminaire AJ Garden with ground piece, without adapterThe LED pathway luminaire AJ Garden is equipped with protection class IP65 and is therefore ideal for outdoor use. It is designed in timeless black and consists primarily of aluminium and stainless steel. The light is shielded by the luminaire head, glare-free and emitted directly towards the ground. The head is fixed and the inside of the shade is painted white so that the light is pleasantly reflected. The shape of the shade provides first-class illumination and sets the surroundings optimally in scene.The outdoor luminaire is mounted with a ground piece. An AJ Garden path light with adapter is also required for operation. Up to 6 lights can be connected in series (1 light with adapter, 5 lights without adapter). The maximum distance to the last luminaire is 30 metres.The AJ luminaire series was designed in 1957 by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Jacobsen was born in Copenhagen and graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Art as an architect in 1927. Buildings designed by him can be found in Denmark, Germany and Great Britain. The AJ lamps are considered Jacobsen's best work and are today a classic of the lamp manufacturer Louis Poulsen.
