AJ Eklipta glass wall lamp for indoor and outdoor use
This harmoniously designed wall lamp consists of three layers of handblown opal glass. It has a clear edge that creates a corona of light around the light when switched on. When mounted as a wall light, AJ Eklipta is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use with an IP44 IP code. As a ceiling light (IP20), it can be used indoors.
Architect Arne Jacobsen designed the AJ Eklipta wall light in 1959 for the town hall in Rødovre – a simple beauty that suits many interior styles and guarantees harmonious ambient lighting. Jacobsen always paid attention to details in his architectural designs, such as cutlery, wallpaper, light, etc.
The manufacturer Louis Poulsen has adopted the Scandinavian principle of "form follows function" as its mission to produce lights that meet human needs for light in a special way and also look attractive when switched off.
