Soleil dimmable LED pendant light with folded paper details by Le Klint The name of the Soleil LED pendant light comes from the French and means "sun". When designer Philip Bro Ludvigsen created the Soleil series, he wanted the lights to radiate the same properties as the main star in the solar system, which distributes light from its centre and illuminates and warms everything. The light is made of aluminium and is decorated with small wooden details, but the highlight of the light is the hand-folded paper shade that is mounted under the cover and serves as Le KLINT's trademark. The special folding technique is the basis of these lampshades, which are still made by hand in Odense on Funen in Denmark, just as they were in the company's founding years. This model is designed for use with Casambi dimmers and cannot be used with other dimmer systems already installed in the Hausen.
