Mini Planet - dimmable battery version of the LED table lamp from Kartell The spherical Mini Planet table lamp is reminiscent of crystal balls and the beautiful effect that the crystal creates when light falls on it. Although Mini Planet is not made of Glas, it is made of a plastic specially developed for the production of these lights, which is processed in such a way that the light effects resemble those of crystal. Mini Planet is a dimmable rechargeable battery version of the light series. It is switched on and off by touch and dimmable in three stages. A full battery charge provides 10 to 21 hours of light, depending on how dimmable it is. Mini Planet was designed by Tokujin Yoshioka and is produced by Kartell, based in Mite. Kartell is known for designer pieces made of plastic, including furniture, household goods and lights. Many of Kartell's designer pieces have not only won various design awards, but can now also be admired as modern classics in museums.
