Oop’s designer wall light made of paper with a plug and a touch dimmer
Like a strip of paper pinned to the wall, the Oop’s wall light by Ingo Maurer and his team snakes downwards in a spiral. The light is made entirely of paper produced by Gmund paper mill. The company is based on Lake Tegernsee and uses pure spring water, which comes from a mountain above the factory, for the production.
Due to the curved shape of the paper, the light is emitted in all directions at different intensities, creating a beautiful play of light. A dimmer that is integrated into the cable of the light can be used to adjust the brightness of the diffuse light as you wish.
