Iguazu pendant light made from sustainable jute

The lampshade of the Iguazu pendant light has been crafted from natural jute into a cone-like shape. Thanks to this natural fibre and its natural brownish colour, it brings the beauty of nature into any room. Jute, a natural fibre, is the second most widely used plant fibre after cotton and is characterised by its robustness. It is grown from seed and can be harvested within 4 to 6 months. The fibres are spun into coarse, strong threads. These have been woven parallel to one another around the horizontal struts to form a lampshade that diffuses a very soft, atmospheric light all around, whilst the light shines directly downwards through the opening, meaning that Iguazu can be used above bar counters, side tables and even dining tables. Combining it with other lights from the range creates a harmonious overall look.

The Iguazu pendant light is part of the sustainable lighting collection by the brand Good & Mojo. The company prioritises the use of sustainable materials and collaborates with charitable organisations. Through donations, it supports the WakaWaka Foundation, which combats energy poverty by providing solar products to people and regions without access to the electricity grid. Furthermore, since 2019 it has been supporting Eden Projects, an organisation through which a tree is planted for every light sold. To date, more than 150,000 trees have been planted.
