Night Owl™ designer table lamp with rotating lampshade

Even when switched off, this table lamp looks like a decorative detail of an upscale living style, for example on a sideboard. However, as soon as it is switched on, the soft, indirect light not only emphasises the surroundings, but also highlights the slightly conical base. The lampshade is made of lacquered aluminium and can be rotated so that the look can always be changed.

Night Owl™ was created by Nicholai Wiig Hansen, who was influenced artistically from an early age by his mother, a ceramist, and his father, the well-known painter and sculptor Svend Wiig Hansen. Nicholai Wiig Hansen opened his own design studio at the age of 26, where he devoted himself to a wide variety of tasks. However, his particular interest is light, as light and darkness are part of every day and the need for functional light is essential.

The Night Owl™ table lamp is manufactured by the Danish company FRITZ HANSEN, which has been synonymous with outstanding craftsmanship in decorative design for almost 150 years. The company's history is marked by products from renowned designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner, Verner Panton, August Sandgren, Bodil Kjær, Cecilie Manz and Grethe Mayer.
