Cohen pendant light: attractively designed lampshade with direct and indirect light emission This pendant light from Frandsen is ideal for illuminating dining tables and kitchen counters. The lampshade is made of metal and provides downward light emission with wide-area diffusion. At the same time, diffuse light is emitted upwards via a small ring of holes on the top, creating a cosy ambience. Cohen is equipped with a canopy in the same colour as the luminaire and a textile-coated cable suspension. The fabulous design was created by Scandinavian designer Toni Rie. She has headed the design department of the Danish manufacturer Frandsen with a visionary eye since 2013. In addition to the Cohen pendant light, her designs also include the Grace Glas pendant light, the Air pendant light series and the Kyoto pendant light series with Japanese flair. Benny Frandsen founded the Frandsen company in Skanderborg, Denmark, in 1968. The company is very successful in developing aesthetic designer lights that combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative, industrial functionality.
