Ludovica + Roberto Palomba were inspired by nature itself in 2007 to design the Gregg family of lights, which they created for the Italian lighting brand Foscarini. Whether the organic shape of the light is associated with a pebble smoothed by the flow of a river or rather with the oversized egg of a mythical creature is left to the viewer to decide. The Gregg ceiling light is one of Foscarini's most versatile and varied product families. Made of handblown, acid-etched glass, Gregg impresses not only with its outstanding quality and excellent workmanship, but also with its absolutely pleasant light distribution. The satin-finished glass shields the light source inside the lampshade on all sides and transports the light softly and glare-free into the surrounding area.
