Foscarini Chouchin 3 - elegant LED pendant lamp with mouth-blown shade in a glossy colour finish

The unusual thing about this modern LED pendant luminaire is not only the shape but also the design of the lampshade. It is made of glass, mouth-blown and handcrafted in a sophisticated way, which is designed with an opaque colour finish. The green colour shines on the outside, but does not let light through from the inside. The only way to do this is through the opening on the underside, which is framed by a white ring that begins to shine when the lamp is switched on. Direct lighting makes the Chouchin 3 LED pendant luminaire an ideal light source for dining tables, counters or bars.

The design of the Chouchin 3 was created for the lighting manufacturer Foscarini by the French designer Ionna Vautrin. She was inspired by Japanese lanterns when developing the design. Her impressive reinterpretation in a clever retro look combines tradition with modernity. All three Chouchin models differ in shape and colour and only when they are combined do they appear harmonious and round.
