Timelessness and elegance – Foscarini Buds 1 pendant light

The original design of the beautifully shaped Buds 1 pendant light dates back to the 1990s and was created by Rodolfo Dordoni for Foscarini. Now reinterpreted in line with current trends and fitted with modern technology, Buds 1 offers a timelessly elegant look. The hand-crafted lampshade consists of five layers of glass, with the innermost layer in straw yellow and the other layers in pure white. This creates a striking visual effect that is particularly evident when the light is switched on. Whilst the Buds 1 pendant light appears white and rather cool when switched off, it takes on an almost amber hue when switched on. This effect is further enhanced by the warm white, replaceable LED bulbs (included). These are energy-efficient and also dimmable, so the brightness can be adjusted at any time.

The Buds 1 glass pendant light is ideal for lighting tables, as the lampshade is open at the bottom, directing the light primarily onto the surface below. However, it is not just dining room or kitchen tables that can be elegantly illuminated; counters can also be impressively lit, for example by placing several lights in a row.
