The two Milanese designers are always up for the challenge of developing new types of products and are always on the lookout for new or unusual materials or manufacturing technologies. Aplomp was created to test concrete as a material for a light. An exciting mix of elements of architecture and design unites the finished pendant light, which is made from a special cement mixture. By adding different colour pigments to the cement mixture for the lampshade, new interpretations of the originally rather dull and grey material are created. As a small pendant light, Aplomb provides direct zone lighting, which enables spotlighting of the surface below. It is therefore ideal for the dining table or as counter lighting.
