Chanpen hanging light with hemp fibre lampshade The designer Anon Pairot named the Chanpen light series after his mother. Chanpen means full moon, which is extremely apt in relation to the shape of the light. The circular frame, which serves as a framework for the lampshade, is covered with hemp fibres (abacá), creating a pattern of hexagons. The hemp fibre fabric lets the light shine through gently, guaranteeing cosy and glare-free lighting. Anon Pairot has already worked for well-known companies such as Fendi, Habitat and Grohe. He enjoys working with natural and sustainable materials and was able to express this preference in the Chanpen lighting series for the French manufacturer Forestier.
