Noctambule glass floor lamp with excellently calibrated LED technology and conical finish

Designer Konstantin Grcic has integrated carefully calibrated LED technology between glass modules in the Noctambule series of lights, which translates as night owl or night bird. The overall work of art is a light that is almost invisible during the day and offers a glamorous light image when illuminated at night.

The individual glass elements of Noctambule are cylindrical in shape, giving them the appearance of a lantern. They form the Basis of every Noctambule light, which consists of a varying number of elements and a Basis, and is sometimes complemented by additional glass elements in a hemispherical or conical shape.

All glass elements are made of transparent, handblown glass, while the base and rings are made of die-cast aluminium. The ring-shaped diffusers are made of opal injection-moulded silicone. Steel side arms are installed inside the glass elements. Each floor lamp is equipped with a power cord and foot switch that can be used to adjust the brightness from 10 to 100 per cent and vice versa.

Noctambule is manufactured by the Italian company FLOS, which has been helping to develop new concepts in artificial lighting on the Italian and international markets since the 1960s.
