The table lamp IC - a glass ball balanced on a brass rod
Michael Anastassiades is the designer responsible for the table lamp IC. He wanted to explore and represent with it the principle of balance and symmetry. Hence the very minimalist form of the table lamp. The frame is reduced to a minimum, namely a rod of brushed brass, which is held in the vertical by a tripod. On this rod balances literally the lampshade, which consists of a spherical opal white glass.
