Floor lamp wickerwork with spherical recycled shade from the 3D printer
The special thing about the Flechtwerk floor lamp is that its shade is made in Germany using a 3D printing process and consists of a special biomaterial composed of waste from the woodworking industry and corn starch. The lignin material is free of toxins and petroleum. The production is particularly sustainable as it produces no waste and uses green electricity.
The outlet pattern of the shade is reminiscent of a chessboard, with the light and dark squares here created by light and shadow. This pattern is also projected onto the wall when the luminaire is switched on, creating an aesthetic lighting atmosphere.
