Aesthetically designed pendant light Floral - Design by David Trubridge Flowers of the Pacific inspired David Trubridge, a representative of Oko design, to create the decorative Floral pendant light. For reasons of ecology, Floral is supplied in individual parts, which minimises the volume compared to the assembled lampshade. The scope of delivery includes the bamboo veneer elements of the lampshade, plastic rivets to connect the individual elements and a suspension cable with socket. A filament bulb, which can be ordered separately via the accessories, looks wonderful as a bulb. The light is emitted in all directions and creates a fascinating play of shadows on the wall or ceiling. David Trubridge comes from England and is a qualified shipbuilder. Today he lives with his family as a furniture designer in New Zealand and has been giving lectures on Oko design and slow design since 2006. He draws inspiration for his designs, which he realises in natural materials such as bamboo from sustainable forestry, from Nature and from his wealth of experience during his five-year journey, which took him and his family on a sailing yacht to the Caribbean, the Pacific and New Zealand.
