Jorge Pensi, the creator of this fascinating ceiling lamp, which impresses with its discreet simplicity, was born in Argentina and emigrated to Spain in 1977. In Barcelona, he worked with the renowned industrial designer Alberto Liévore before setting up his own Studio in 1984. His focus is on the design of furniture and lighting. His elegantly styled designs for the Spanish lighting company B.Lux established the international success of B.Lux. Some of Pensi's early designs for B.Lux became Icons of Spanish design. Jorge Pensi has received numerous awards for his creations, including the National Design Award (1997).
