Yanzi LED pendant luminaire: synthesis between tradition and innovation

The Yanzi LED pendant luminaire presents itself as an open system for creating light compositions and luminous landscapes that create a poetic, elegant ambience.

On the black lacquered frame, like three birds, sit small luminaire arms in brushed brass, each carrying a small glass sphere fitted with an LED light source. Two of the glass lights sit directly on the frame pole, one is mounted on a metal U below the pole. This creates ambient lighting on two levels, creating a very atmospheric feel.

The Yanzi pendant lamp not only works as a light source, for example above a table or a kitchen counter, but also adds a special touch to any interior.

The architect duo Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu works for renowned lighting manufacturers, such as the Italian company Artemide, for whom they created this pendant light with an open design. In their contemporary design, Neri & Hu combine Western and Asian influences with each other, thus creating their very individual design.
