Classic desk lamp Tolomeo Mini LED
Already in 1987, the still popular table lamp was designed. The designers Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina created a timeless design classic. This table lamp has now been upgraded with modern LEDs.
The small lampshade of the Tolomeo table lamp can be easily adjusted to the respective needs thanks to movable joints. Due to the adjustable arms, the lamp is maximally flexible and equipped for any use in the modern home office or as a reading lamp on the side table. By means of an integrated switch directly on the lamp head, the brightness can be conveniently adjusted and continuously dimmed at any time.
The designer and architect Michele De Lucchi developed the Tolomeo lamp series together with Giancarlo Fassina 30 years ago. A mechanism he had seen at fishermen in Apulia served De Lucchi as inspiration for the later form and functionality of the luminaire. But when the first prototypes did not work in practice, it was Giancarlo Fassina who made the lamp suitable for everyday use.
