Delicate and flexible – the Tolomeo Mega floor lamp

Its delicate design is what catches the eye at first glance. The frame of the Tolomeo Mega floor lamp is very slim, hardly noticeable, and thus draws attention directly to the conical lampshade. The highlight here is the sophisticated technology contained in the lamp's frame. Flexible joints ensure that the floor lamp can be adjusted in height or length as desired. The length can be adjusted to a total of 1.86 m and the height to an incredible 3.27 m. An innovative cable pull system provides the necessary stability and ensures that the selected position remains unchanged. The lampshade is also flexible and can be rotated individually. It can be turned to any required angle using the attached metal handle. Another plus is the floor lamp's dimmability, which is easy to operate using a slide dimmer with a separate off button.

The sophisticated design and accompanying mechanics are the work of architects and designers Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, who created the Tolomeo series of lights, a range of lights that remains successful and popular to this day. The Tolomeo Mega floor lamp is no exception and even won the Red Dot Award in 2013.
