Design table lamp Original 1227 Mini by Anglepoise® George Carwardine, an English industrial and automotive designer, provided the design for the Original 1227 table lamp in the 1930s. The Mini version is a reduced version of this industrial design light. Unlike its Gross version, the Original 1227 Mini has a pyramid-shaped base with an integrated switch. However, the typical lampshade is also present in the Mini version. It can be adjusted in inclination. The light is also fitted with a textile cable. George Carwardine (1887-1948) was originally a specialist in shock absorber systems. His lamp designs were preceded by the desire to construct a work light that could be used flexibly.
