The Jeep table lamp brings an extraordinary piece of Italian design back into the contemporary interior. Designed in 1969 by Cesare Leonardi and Franca Stagi, this striking designer lamp combines an unmistakable industrial aesthetic with uncompromising functionality. This reissue of the original light retains the characteristic lines and construction principles of the original; the result is not a nostalgic retro light, but a design object whose technical clarity remains astonishingly modern even more than five decades after its creation.

A sturdy round base, the visible joint mechanism and the large cylindrical reflector define the expressive form of the table lamp. The body is made of aluminium and is available in the distinctive colours red (RAL 3020) or midnight blue (RAL 5004). Wing nuts, hinges and compression springs are deliberately left exposed, forming a visible part of the design. This is precisely where the design philosophy of Leonardi and Stagi is evident: the construction itself determines the aesthetics. The carefully finished surface protects the material whilst emphasising the light’s industrial, almost technical character.
The visual centrepiece of the Jeep table lamp is its striking Fresnel lens. Its concentric structure focuses the light into a broad, even and directional beam. This makes the designer table lamp suitable not only for reading and working, but also for providing targeted accent lighting on a wall or a specific object. The reflector can be adjusted by hand using the visible hinged mechanism. A wing nut and compression springs ensure that the selected position is held securely – directly, intuitively and without any complicated technology.

On a desk in a home office, the Jeep becomes a distinctive work light. On a bedside table, it provides focused light for reading, whilst on a console table in the hallway, a sideboard or a side table in the living room, it can be showcased as an expressive design piece.
