GX53 LED Bulbs

The perfect compact bulb

GX53 LED bulbs are the modern alternative to the old-style GX53 fluorescent bulb. And, thanks to their compact size, they look great anywhere.

From homes with modern or minimalist design or space to garden walls, decking and pathways. If you’re looking for a thin lighting option that looks cool and stylish, make sure you add GX53 LED bulbs to your basket.

What are GX53 LED bulbs?

GX53 LED bulbs are the modern alternative to GX53 compact fluorescent bulbs. With the GX53 base, the distance between the two metal contacts is 53 mm and is fixed into the socket by turning it clockwise.

Fluorescent GX53 lights are also known for their low height, with many older models measuring just 25 mm. But thanks to LED technology, they can now be made even flatter - which is ideal for those with minimalist decor.

And as many lights still have GX53 sockets, there are compatible GX53 LED alternatives which have a longer working life and will significantly reduce your energy bills.

Where are GX53 bulbs used?

The use of individual GX53 bulbs indoors has become less common, mostly because of the popularity of fixed LEDs. But that’s not to say they aren’t popular in their own right. GX53 bulbs are still frequently found in outdoor lighting, from recessed ceiling and wall lights to floor lighting on outdoor decking and pathways.
