Light strips

Functional or indirect room lighting

Where are batten luminaires used?

Light strips consist of just one socket and one fluorescent tube or LED alternative and provide large-area, glare-free lighting. This makes them ideal for cellars, hobby rooms and garages.

In the commercial sector, the luminaires are used in storage rooms, passageways and utility rooms in general. If the luminaire is used in damp rooms, an appropriate protection rating of IP44 or higher - depending on the area of application - must be ensured.

How do you illuminate indirectly with batten luminaires?

Indirect lighting with batten luminaires or LED strips is all the rage. With this effective, modern lighting method for the four walls, drywall profile elements are mounted on the wall, ceiling or floor. These are used to cover the light source behind them, thus enabling contour lighting.

Are there decorative light strips for public facilities?

LED technology has made completely new luminaire designs possible. For the light strip, this means breaking out of the predetermined linear shape of the fluorescent lamp. The designer products among the batten luminaires are varied, curved, round and, above all, expandable. These luminaires can be used to illuminate commercial areas effectively yet decoratively, e.g. fitness studios, hotel lobbies, shopping centers or the education sector.

How are batten luminaires mounted?

Light strips are connected to a 230 volt power outlet in the same way as regular lights. We recommend having an electrician carry out this work so that all safety precautions are taken. The light can be mounted on the wall or ceiling.
