Pendant lights / pendant luminaires in offices and commercial premises

Pendant luminaires are used in the commercial sector for a wide variety of purposes, from office lighting to bar lighting. The pendant light will find its fans in all these areas.

In the field of office lighting, pendant luminaires with louvres or diffusers are usually used to avoid glare. In some circumstances, pendant luminaires can replace the separate task light. Pendant lights have two major advantages over normal desk lights: Firstly, they illuminate the entire desk evenly thanks to their elongated design, and secondly, the light from pendant lights always comes exactly from above and not from the side. This prevents shadows from forming. And pendant lights have a third advantage: They don't take up any extra space on the desk.

In foyers, restaurants or cafés, pendant luminaires are often placed above tables or counters. Suspended luminaires radiate an elegant coziness here. Thanks to their downward-directed light cone, guests are not dazzled when entering the lobby and in the restaurant, pendant luminaires visually separate the tables from one another.
