The original shape of the Tolomeo table lamp was designed in 1986 by Michele de Lucchi. For its flexibly adjustable mechanism, he was inspired by the trabucchi, the traditional fishing machines of the Apulian fishermen, in which the poles to which the net is attached are held by ropes.

For more than 30 years, the Tolomeo table lamp has delighted people with its timeless beauty. Today, the table lamp is fitted with innovative LED technology, which is energy-efficient and can be individually adjusted in terms of its luminous intensity and colour temperature thanks to the integrated Tunable-White function, allowing you to adapt the light to perfectly suit your own requirements. It provides a spectrum of white light, ranging from warm white (2,300 K) to daylight (10,000 K), which can be used for all circumstances. Tolomeo offers everything from cosy mood lighting to a very bright working light.
