A glass ball that can be individually moved on the metal frame and gives off the soft filtered light where it is needed – this is the nh S1 22 pendant lamp. It embodies a dynamic interaction between shapes, colours and materials that are harmoniously attuned to one another. The designers Neri&Hu implement this vision into their lamps and use research as a design tool.

The aluminium frame is fitted with black and brass surfaces, which creates an excellent contrast to the white glass ball. nh S1 22 is a modern interpretation of the lantern motif from the culture and traditions of the Orient. This turns the lamp into a work of art and an eyecatcher for a high-quality interior.

The nh series is produced in collaboration with the light manufacturer Artemide. The focus is on the use of high-quality materials and modern light technology. Artemide also incorporates research and consideration of socio-cultural aspects in the lamps in order to use light to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
